The Alden Law Group, PLLC (ALG) is pleased to announce that James M. Eisenmann has joined the firm as a partner. Jim Eisenmann is an experienced and savvy leader, advocate and educator who represents federal and private employees and employers in complex employment litigation and counseling.
Between 2005 and 2010, Jim was a founding member of Kraft Eisenmann Alden, PLLC, a labor, employment and employee benefits law firm in Washington, DC. From 1991 to 2005, Jim served as an associate, senior associate and principal in the firm Passman & Kaplan, P.C.
In 2010, Jim served as a political appointee in the Obama Administration as the General Counsel of the U.S. Merit Systems Protection Board (MSPB). Then in 2013, Jim was appointed as the MSPB’s Executive Director where he served until September 2018. Most recently Jim was Of Counsel with Kalijarvi, Chuzi, Newman & Fitch, P.C.
Jim is also an Adjunct Professor at The American University in the School of Public Affairs and the Key Executive Leadership Program where teaches constitutional and administrative law, leading with integrity, and political savvy.
He received his law degree from The Catholic University School of Law and his bachelor’s degree from West Virginia University.
